I am so lucky to be living in a state where I get to experience all the seasons, and Oregon has been exceptionally kind this year when it comes to Fall! Growing up, it always felt like it zoomed right past, but now that I am a little older, I finally take the time to appreciate fall and all it's beauty! Looking around and admiring all of the fallen leaves and color changes, I was inspired to bring you this; My Fall Leaf Scarf! Why just admire the leaves when you can wear them? :) It's a festive scarf for the season and using super bulky Wool-Ease Thick & Quick by Lion Brand Yarn, it still functions as a scarf to keep your neck warm!

Down below, you will find the free pattern for this scarf! Very Easy fun and easy to work up!

In the last stitch, TC 6 times. By the last tc, it will turn itself around:

In the next stitch and following stitches after, follow this order: tc, dc, dc, hdc, hdc, sc, and sl st. Fasten off and leave tail to weave in later! And you're done with the leaves!

Now, for the scarf part! (Begin in Brown) Start with your first leaf, sl st through and then ch 8. At the 9th stitch, pull through end of leaf and sl st to connect. Ch 8 again and connect at 9th stitch. There will be 8 stitches between each leaf and you may choose any order of color you desire! I went with red, orange, then yellow! Once you reach the every end, connect last leaf. Ch 1, turn your work, and sc into second ch from hook. Work your back down to the very end!
